Brabantia and international non-profit organisation WeForest, dedicated to bio-diverse tree planting, celebrate their one millionth tree planting milestone with a tree planting ceremony.
To mark the success of its #LoveNature campaign where, for every Brabantia Rotary Dryer and Drying Rack sold across the globe, Brabantia donates one tree, Brabantia CEO Tijn van Elderen and WeForest CEO Marie-Noelle Keijzer, have planted a special tree near Brabantia’s Factory in Overpelt. Working with consumers and WeForest to protect and restore the world’s environment, Brabantia teamed up with WeForest back in 2015 as part of its Love Nature Campaign and two years later can now celebrate the planting of one million trees.
Tijn van Elderen said: “We want to thank everybody who has helped us planting these one million trees. We didn't do it alone, thanks to WeForest for making it possible and consumers for their choice to use our rotary dryers to dry their laundry naturally.
“It would be great if we can inspire consumers and companies to join efforts in doing good for our planet, to leave it as a better place for the next generation. We plan to continue our partnership with WeForest and our next goal? Let's make it 1,5 million Brabantia trees!”.
WeForest CEO Marie-Noelle Keijzer: “We love the cause marketing model Brabantia has developed and the senior management commitment to make it a success. It is a true inspiration and we want many more good brands to adopt it.

Brabantia has now set a goal to plant more than 1.5 million trees in the coming months – one for every rotary dryer and drying rack sold.
