Red wine stain

How do I remove a red wine stain from clothing? There are three effective ways:

  • Place an old newspaper under the stain and put salt on the stain. Let it soak a bit.
  • Pour gin or vodka over the stain.
  • Soak the stain with carbonated water.

Oil stain

An oil stain in my clothes, how do I get it out? Try one of these:

  • Dishwashing liquid and a cloth.
  • Apply benzine before washing.
  • Milk; let it soak a bit.

Ink stain

Leaked pen! How do I remove ink from my clothes? Dab away the ink as much as possible with a white cloth. Then you can do three things:

  • Place the garment on a clean cloth and treat the stain with an alcohol-containing hairspray.
  • Dab the front and back of the ink stain with a white cloth with dishwashing liquid and glycerine.
  • Apply a mixture of baking soda with water to the ink stain.

Glue stain

How do I remove glue from my clothes?
Simple: place a sheet of kitchen roll on the glue stain and go over it with an iron (on the low temperature setting). The glue will attach to the paper.


Coffee stain

Remove coffee from a pair of trousers. First thing with coffee stains: hold the back of the garment under a tap and let the flowing water 'push out' the coffee stain. Then you can try the following:

  • Sprinkle salt on the coffee stain.
  • Dab with vinegar.
  • Rub it with disinfection alcohol.

Rust

Rust stain on my clothing. You remove rust stains in 2 steps:

  1. Pour lemon juice over the stain.
  2. Rub in with salt and leave to soak.

Sweat

How do I remove a sweat stain from my clothes? You can try the following to remove sweat stains:

  • Spray with vinegar before washing;
  • Mixture of baking soda and hot water, let it soak for two hours;
  • Mixture of lemon juice with water, let it soak for an hour;
  • Mixture of two aspirins and a cup of hot water, let it soak for four hours.
